The client turned to Northridge to create a tool to illustrate the benefits and savings of teleworking to companies and employees. The client required the tool to allow employees and business managers to calculate time, cost, environmental, and quality of life impacts based on specific individual realities. With a thorough understanding of the functional requirements, Northridge developed the web-based Teleworker Calculator solution on the Microsoft .NET framework creating a stable and scalable environment. The Teleworker Calculator functionality generates quantifiable savings estimates, from both employer and employee perspectives, that can be emailed or printed to an Adobe PDF. Northridge Interactive, the interactive marketing and design division of Northridge, designed the Teleworker Calculator interface to seamlessly integrate with the existing client website.
