Northridge Ranks 86th in Inc. 500 IT Services Index

9/7/2009

Atlanta, GA -- Northridge, the leading Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in the Southeast, is pleased to announce it has been named to the Inc. 500 IT Services index, the largest industry subset of the Inc. 5000.

With three-year sales growth of 423.3%, Inc. Magazine ranks Northridge 86th on its Inc. 500 subset of the fastest-growing private IT services companies in America. Northridge ranked 25th overall among all businesses headquartered in Georgia that made the Inc. 5000 list. Founded in 1999, Northridge’s strong growth history is supported by the ongoing partnership it garners with Microsoft as one of the leading Microsoft partners in the southeast United States. Northridge leverages a wide array of Microsoft-based technologies to deliver mission-critical business solutions to its mid-market and enterprise customers.

“As we celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we are particularly honored to be recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest growing privately-owned companies in America,” said Rob Patten, cofounder and CEO of Northridge. “Our dedication to delivering quality solutions and services to our clients has guided our steady growth over the past decade. We owe this accomplishment to the support of our outstanding clients, innovative employees, and our strategic partners.”

“The Inc. 500|5000 serves as a cross-industry economic report card of both growing companies with cutting-edge business models, and established companies that continue to demonstrate growth,” said Walter Rowland, EVP and Chief Revenue Officer at Northridge. “In spite of this tough economy, finding ourselves among the top private companies in America is certainly a proud accomplishment, further illustrating our ability to acquire new clients and retain existing relationships through quality service delivery.”

The well regarded Inc. 500|5000 list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy, America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs, and inclusion on the list is considered one of the most prestigious awards for high-growth companies in the private sector.  The private companies on this year's list are responsible for creating more than 55,000 jobs since their founding, making the Inc. 500|5000 perhaps the best example of the impact private, fast-growing companies can have on the overall US economy. These chosen companies "are more likely to be on the efficient frontier and to have hit the sweet spot in terms of high-demand growth," said Robert Litan, VP of Research and Policy at the Kauffman Foundation of Entrepreneurship, sponsor of the Inc 500|5000 Conference. "That's not to say they are not affected. But they will be relatively better off than most firms."

Founded in 1979, Inc. is the only major business magazine dedicated exclusively to owners and managers of growing private companies that delivers real solutions for today’s innovative company builders. The 2009 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, companies must be US based, privately held, for profit, and independent, and show four full calendar years of sales. Revenue in 2005 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2008 must have been at least $2 million.
